March 2016

We hope you all enjoyed the Open House performances. Well done to all of the students, you were fantastic. We are busy working towards our next exam session, which has been booked for Sunday 10th April. More details will be given out during the term.

 Photographs – Show Costumes 2015
We now have the link to the photo sessions from our photographer Steve Hey. For privacy reasons, we will forward by email the link to any students/parents who ask. The photographs are reasonably priced at £2.40 each.

Mardi Gras
Mardi Gras rehearsals are in full flow from 12pm-1pm. As per Debbie’s email, the coach is booked for students at a price of £16 each. Please could all payments be returned as soon as possible.
Further information regarding costumes will be issued during this term.
Children who are on the reserve list do not need to attend the rehearsal, but need to keep the performance date of 5th June free. Please note full attendance for these rehearsals is expected.
Should you have any further queries regarding Mardi Gras, please contact Debbie by email.

For the Inters audience who watched the open house – we hope you enjoyed the singing demonstration!
Spaces are available in the singing classes on Saturday from 3.45 to 4.30 at the village hall, at the cost of £4.00 per lesson. These lessons are suitable for all students from the Junior Class upwards. If you haven’t already filled in a form to join the lesson, but would like to, please see Donna.

Changes to BTDA Exam marking
It has been announced by the BTDA that from January 2016 they will no longer be awarding the Distinction grade for Prep and Primary level exams. If you have any queries, please speak to Donna.

New Pin Badges
The BTDA are now offering pin badges for students who have passed Graded Exams (Grade 1-5) in Tap, Ballet and Modern. These are available for £1, once a student has passed their exam. They are not compulsory. Please speak to Donna or Becky if you would like to place an order.

Lost Property
We have a lot of lost property, which due to the lack of space, we will be keeping until the end of term. Anything that has not been claimed will be donated to the charity shop.
